FAQs
Sessions typically occur weekly or biweekly. Like most specialty providers, I do not participate in any insurance plans. Paying out-of-pocket is a great option for people who want maximum privacy, confidentiality, and flexibility.

Online therapy means you get the convenience of meeting from wherever it’s most comfortable for you, without the commute. This could be at home, at the office, or in the car (though not while driving). All you need is a private space and a good internet connection.
-
Currently, I am offering virtual sessions, where you can experience the benefits of therapy from the comfort of your own home with additional flexibility of scheduling.
-
I am an “out-of-network” provider, as I am not participating in any insurance panels.
If your insurance plan has out-of-network benefits, a portion of the therapy fee may be covered by your insurance company.
I recommend you contact your provider directly and ask the following questions:
Do I have out-of-network mental health coverage?
What is the amount of my deductible, and how much have I met?
What is my responsibility (co-insurance) once the deductible is met?
I will provide you an invoice for services at the end of every session that you can submit for reimbursement.

If you have out-of-network benefits, they typically will reimburse you for 60%-80% of the cost of each session.
That means, after your deductible is met, you can expect to pay upfront for your session fee and then be reimbursed for 60-80% of that session fee after you submit your superbill.
-
Before scheduling a therapy session, I do a free 15 minute intro call with all potential new clients. This gives us the chance to get to know each other. Here’s what you can expect:
-I’ll ask you about why you’re seeking therapy
-I’ll tell you a bit about myself and my approach as a therapist
-You can ask me any questions that I didn’t cover
-We’ll talk about rates, availability, etc.
-
Most clients meet with me weekly, but we’ll find a pace that matches your needs—something steady, flexible, and in tune with where you are right now.
-
If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions changed with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full fee. I understand that emergencies happen—if something unavoidable comes up, I’ll do my best to find a solution.
